and no set price, these guys have decided to put this
album out there and let us - the listeners - determine
its worth. I paid what I would to purchase it on
itunes - $9.99
DARJEELING LIMITED
A Wes Anderson film is like chicken soup- sometimes
you just need it to feel better. It was fantastic but,
more importantly, it was gorgeous! The sari fabrics
are like another character- you should see it for the
colors alone. Scott and I saw it in Union Square - and
so did Wes Anderson! He entered the theater just after
the lights went down. We were about to turn around and
tell whoever was standing there to shut the door- glad
we kept our mouths shut instead....

primarily by color. The store specializes in glass,
with a large selection of American (Blenko), Danish
(Holmegaard), and Italian pieces, all seductively
grouped on color-coordinated furniture pieces by the
likes of Knoll and Paul McCobb, dramatically set
against brightly colored walls."
If I had to choose a store to live in - literally -
this would be it. Outside of West Virginia, this just
might be the one place on earth you'll see so much
Blenko in one place! And since I collect it
passionately, I'm only half kidding when I say I've
considered just having my paychecks direct deposited
into their account. Maybe I should seek help for my
glass obsession...
MAYA ROMANOFF WALLCOVERINGS
I have coveted this line since it came out and just
used it for the first time. I chose the Natural Mother
of Pearl for Rachael Ray's dressing room and it looked
delicious! It ain't cheap, but a little dash'll do ya!
I was able to make (102) 12" x 36" tiles stretch over
a 10' x 17' space by putting it only where ya see it -
AROUND the built in's and mirror, but not behind and
not behind the floor to ceiling curtains. A small
space like a powder room could become the most
fabulous room in your house if it's covered in this
stuff!
C. JERE WALL SCULPTURES REISSUED THROUGH JONATHAN ADLER
I have looked and looked for originals in vintage
stores, at flea markets and on ebay, but finding them
in mint condition and for less money than say, a car,
is tough! Thank goodness Jonathan Adler has taken all
of the work out of it for us. He teamed up with the
artists (there are 2 that make up C. Jere) to reissue three
of their most popular designs. Thanks, buddy!

I just discovered the bag borrow or steal site where
you can RENT designer hand bags! In my opinion, the greatest idea since the
flat iron.

CRAIGSLIST
We use craigslist on the show religiously. Why drive to every thrift
store in town when you can shop vintage in your pj’s?
WHAT I'M LISTENING TO
The Go Team were my favorite act at Coachella.
Dancing in the desert with 50,000 people, what could be better? Thanks
to my ipod, Tom Vek is everywhere I go. Lady Sovereign – one
bad @ss chick, and the Guillemots song, Trains to Brazil is my official
song of the summer. Turn the volume way up on this one and I dare
you not to smile!
CRYSTAL LIGHT 1 PACKS
Right now, I can’t think of a more amazing new product than the
Crystal Light 1 packs. I have a hard time drinking enough water-
boring- but add flavor to it and I’m getting my full 8 glasses a
day and then some! I spend all day running around, so I just keep
the packets in my purse and buy bottled water throughout the day. It comes
in a ton of flavors, but I drink the iced tea religiously (there’s
no caffeine in it!)
